Part 3


This close - up of Berika shows him during his work. The fact that is goes in and out of focus is reflects the movie Halloween where you always have the male following and he is shot in a close up. This was also particularly used in The Silence of the Lambs and is very effective. Proof for this is, that the main actor Anthony Hopkins is on screen for only 16 minutes, but still won an Oscar, because he is mostly filmed straight on in a close up and therefore you keep remembering that image and when somebody tells you that he has only been on screen for 16 minutes you won’t believe it because you feel his view almost “in your neck”. We used that and demonstrated that in our production as well, because then the audience sees every single detail of the actors face, and you keep having it in your head and therefore it is really scary.
